A fine cold day in January provided some good walking weather. The Humber river was full, and the wier looked good, so I took a picture.

A different world, and a peaceful place to go to escape the traffic & congestion of downtown Toronto.

Flat iron building - once the head office of Goodenham & Worts Distillery. This building actually precedes a similar one in New York city by over ten years, but the one in New York gets far more publicity - not that this one gives a damn!!!!!

I don't know the statue's or the sculptor's name - but I like it.......

I came across this old steam; double expansion; double acting reciprocating pump in the Distillery District in Toronto the other day.
I don't think there's too many of these beasts left around, so I relly hope it's going to be preserved.
My camera batteries gave out straight after this shot, and I didn't have my spares with me, so I guess I was lucky to get this one photo!!

We weren't allowed to take any pics of the show :-( so I had to be content with watching a wonderful performance, and of a few pics outside ....

Trying to make our escape after the show!!

The traffic was horrendous, so we just stayed put, listened to the radio for a bit, and watched the other guys inch their way homeward.
We made our way when the main rush had long gone :-)
