1000 Islands Salad Dressing

1000 Islands Salad Dressing is widely thought to have been named after this scenic area.
A popular story has it that the chef of Boldt Castle dreamed up the concoction for a special dinner hosted by George Boldt and his wife for their many guests. When served, it was met with great success, and good 'ole George took it from there.
