It isn't too often that you see the lake running swells like this.To get an idea of the wave height, look at the people (idiots) on the unguarded pier.

These are shots of Lake Ontario, Ontario, Canada, in the area of Hamilton and Burlington.
The lake takes a long time to warm up because we get the cold water coming down from the other Great Lakes further north.
Eight degrees sounds and probably feels much nicer than one degree, right Jim?
