Standing on a bridge over this creek, we heard strange noises from under the structure.

We spotted a family of racoons. There's five coonlets?? and mother trying - unsuccessfully - to catch some kipI wish I had a better zoom - maybe an SLR - with image stabalization ..........
We let them be and wished them well, and went back to our walk.

What a waste

There's not too much garbage collected around here now. We recycle, compost, and re-use a good part of it.
Halton region started a "Green Cart" program recently that collects kitchen waste via a green container in every household.
Recyclable materials are now collected weekly along with the "Green Cart" in these new trucks.
It seems to be a good system. I hope everyone can make it work.

Apologies .....

Again, I'm sorry for not posting more frequently, but the excuse is still my bathroom renovation.
I've checked on other guys who have done the same work on their bathrooms, and - surprise surprise - I'm not alone.
Hopefully things will return to normal fairly quickly - but don't hold your breath.
